Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of former Malayalam actress Priyadarshan and Lizzie, has become a busy heroine in South India. In a recent interview, Kalyani spoke about an incident that took place after watching the movie Priyadarshan, directed by her father, starring her mother Lizzy and Mohanlal as a child.
When he was young, he was afraid of Mohanlal coming home. I was a very young child when ‘Picture’ was released. In it, Lalangil and his mother got into a fight and eventually the mother was stabbed to death. After seeing this, I was scared when Lalangil came home.
No one understood what had happened to me after running away from Lalangil for so long. Kalyani said that when he said something, he understood that it was a movie and acting. Kalyani will also be seen in a role in Marakkar Arabian Sea Lion, a cosmic film directed by his father Priyadarshan Mohanlal. Kalyani made her film debut in Vikram Kumar’s Hello, a film co – directed by her father Priyadarshan. Kalyani will be seen in the film as a production designer.
