The Punjagutta police on Tuesday captured noted ghazal vocalist Kesiraju Srinivas following a protestation of lewd behavior by a 29-year-old lady associate.
The casualty works at web radio channel ‘Aalayavani’, which is controlled by Save Temples Organization from their office situated on the primary floor of Saptagiri Towers close Care Hospital in Banjara Hills.
“The blamed Kesiraju Srinivas, nom de plume Ghazal Srinivas, 51, a vocalist from Kabir Nivas, Anand Nagar in Khairatabad, is mark minister for Save Temples Organization and used to manage crafted by the web radio channel as well,” Punjagutta reviewer S Ravindar told TOI.
The casualty, a divorced person from Karimnagar, joined the web radio direct in June 2017 on a month to month compensation of ₹13,000. On December 29, she held up a protestation with the Punjagutta police asserting that Ghazal Srinivas was sexually bothering her.
Casualty recorded vocalist’s offenses
The casualty affirmed that Ghazal Srinivas constrained her to rub his back and legs by undermining to sack her. In the remand report, the police cited the casualty saying: “Ghazal Srinivas used to persuasively kiss, embrace and request sexual favors. He postured naked before me at whatever point I went by his room on office work.”
Srinivas likewise used to sexually misuse the workplace servant and utilized her to supposedly pressurize the casualty to fall in line, police said. Unfit to hold up under the badgering, the casualty subtly recorded visuals of his sexual abuse by setting a camera in the room and gave over the memory card containing those visuals to the police.

Srinivas was delivered under the watchful eye of the court on Tuesday and sent to legal remand till Jan 12. Police moved an appeal to looking for his guardianship, while Srinivas moved a safeguard request. The artist was sent to Chanchalguda jail at night.
