The producers of Rani Mukerji’s up and coming film, Hichki, held an uncommon screening in Mumbai on Thursday evening and the film appears to have inspired the vast majority of them. Reports said Rekha and Madhuri Dixit were in tears subsequent to watching the film where Rani plays a young lady with Tourette disorder. Among the individuals who went to the screening were Boney Kapoor with little girl Khushi, Karan Johar, Sushmita Sen and Shilpa Shetty.
The film depends on the genuine story of motivational speaker Brad Cohen and takes motivation from Cohen’s book, Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had. Rani comes back to screen after just about four years, her last discharge was 2014’s Mardaani.
Rekha and Madhuri were apparently observed crying and praising Rani for depicting the character of Naina Mathur – an instructor experiencing Tourette Syndrome – so delicately. Jeetendra and Ashutosh Gowarikar were likewise spotted at the screening.
Created by Maneesh Sharma under the Yash Raj Films standard, the motion picture is set to discharge on March 23.
