Today, we have check a old interview of Aishwarya Rai, when she was very new in the film and discussed her ‘star atmosphere’ and how media was obsessed with her even before her debut!
When i start my film career is, “A Professor approached me to complete a photoshoot for her and I agreed. She was a photojournalist. At that point, i am in twelfth standared, I denied offers. I never truly completed my portfolio,” had said Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while conversing with Rediff.
“But the film industry and the modelling world took well to me. I started getting offers from everywhere and, as a typical science student, I said, ‘No way. What’s going on? I’m supposed to be studying.’ “I shunned everything. But, post HSC, you get three months off. It was during this time that I did modelling for a lark.”
“Everyone recognizes what occurred after that. It just continued endlessly and on. The industry took well to me and I got the media’s consideration or rather I caught eye or whatever. It was harmonious and there was consideration.”
“It’s amazing how, even as a model, I was around just for around year-and-a-half before my titles happened. But, within that year, I had done most of the prestigious campaigns and there was this star aura that was attached to my name.”
