‘Kazhcha’ directed by Blessy was a movie that made the family audience fall in love with the actor Mammootty. Blessy’s film based on the Gujarat earthquake was Housefull shows in theaters in Kerala. It is also the first film to be directed by Padmaraja’s student Blessy.

‘Mammootty is the main reason I became a writer. When I told Mammootty the story of ‘Kazhcha’, Mammootty asked me who would write it. I mentioned the names of many famous writers. I approached many people with this story.

But they all backed down and made fun of me for not being able to communicate because there is no language to speak between the two main characters in it. All those neglects came to a realization. The film never needs a language. I got a sense of the language that is visible to the film, ”says Blessy.
