IMDB’s best Indian film of the year is Vikram Vedha

On the off chance that there was ever a year commanded by provincial dialect films, it would be 2017. The main three movies in IMDB’s rundown of Top 10 Indian Movies of 2017 are from the south, with a sum of five southern dialect films in the rundown.

The abrasive, neo noir Vikram Vedha beat a few Bollywood biggies and one of India’s greatest blockbusters of the year – Baahubali: The Conclusion, to top IMDB’s rundown. The second place was taken by Baahubali 2 (obviously), however the unexpected that took the cake is the Telugu film industry’s Arjun Reddy in third place.

The Aamir Khan-Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar took fourth place, while Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium came fifth. On-screen characters Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati both have two movies each in the rundown; the previous with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Jolly LLB 2, and the last with Baahubali 2 and Ghazi Attack.

The solitary Malayalam film in included in the rundown is the Mammootty starrer The Great Father at tenth place.
