We had recently reported about Karthi signing another movie with director Bakkiyaraj Kannan of ‘Remo’ popularity. The movie was officially launched with a formal pooja service. Rashmika Mandanna, one of South Indian film’s hot top picks, will make her Tamil debut with this movie.
According to the producers, this yet to be titled movie will be an activity cum family dramatization with a portion of sentiment in it.Yogi Babu and Mansoor Ali Khan have also been signed to play crucial roles. SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures is producing the movie. Vivek-Merwin will be composing the music. Shoot for the movie is scheduled to commence shortly.
Karthi was last seen shooting for ‘Kaithi’, directed by ‘Maanagaram’ fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has also signed for a project with Malayali filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, which is scheduled to go on floors by the second half of the year.
