Thalaivi movie, Kangana’s makeover for Jayalalithaa

Thalavivi, the story of Jayalalithaa, former Tamil Nadu chief minister and actress, is getting ready. Biopic will be produced by AL Vijay, one of the most famous directors in Tamil. The teaser of the film is slated for release today. The teaser features scenes from the two periods of the actress. Following the teaser, several trolls were released on social media. Most people have come up with the trolley of Jayalalithaa’s Kangana look. The audience is of the opinion that Kangana has no resemblance to Jayalalithaa. There have been


comments that Jayalalithaa cannot be dyed with makeup and seems artificial. Some people make fun of Kangana Rawat as a kilo of makeup, Meanwhile, Jayalalithaa is preparing for a biopic in Tamil and Hindi. Aravind Sami plays the role of MGR. The film is about Jayalalithaa’s life as a talisman from Tamil Nadu. KR Vijayendra is scripting the film.

Hollywood prosthetics expert Jason Collins of Captain Marvel-fame has worked on Kangana’s look in Thalaivi. Excited to play the legendary actor and politician on-screen, Kangana had said, “Jayalalithaa Ji is


one of the biggest female success stories of this century. She was a superstar and went on to become an iconic politician, it’s a great concept for a mainstream film. I am honored to be a part of this mega project.” Thalaivi was granted the status of an official biopic, and the team has received a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the late Chief Minister’s nephew Deepak Jayakumar.

Producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri, who is also producing 83, said, “I am excited to show this story of an actor
