After 27 years, a serial version is being prepared for a super hit movie in Malayalam. The film is presented in four different languages. Malayalees’ all-time favorite ‘Manichitrathazhu’ is now on the mini screen. Sunny, Ganga, and Nakulan all go to the living room as episodes.
Manichitrathazhu Movie
Bhavachitra Jayakumar is preparing the serial version for Manichitrathazhu. The announcement was for Lion One. Has been working on this project for some time. There are still a lot of pillars to start filming under COVID controls. Filming needs to be done in places like Kolkata and Thanjavur. Jayakumar says that Manichitrathazhane is a film soaked in the blood of Malayalees. He says the venture is about thinking about what will happen after the film.
The film is set in 1993 with the aim of making a film in the category of psychological horror. Manichitrathazhu will always be remembered as a successful attempt to take a story from the theme of permanent ghost-evacuation to the realm of psychology.

The film is scripted by Madhu Muttam and directed by Fazil. Swargachithra Appachan was the producer. Priyadarshan, Siddique Lal, and Sibi Malayil are the second unit directors of the film. When Venu arrived as the chief cinematographer, Anandakuttan and Sunny Joseph handled the camera in the second unit. Shobhana, who hit the screens with Ganga and Nagavalli, won the National Award for Best Actress that year.
When the movie serial starring Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, and Shobhana is shattered, the wait for anyone to play those immortal characters will be a little longer.
