1. Mamtha Mohandas
Skilled entertainer and vocalist Mamta Mohandas is without a doubt a good example for everybody. Her boldness to endure the troublesome time and inspirational standpoint towards life is moving for some.
She was first determined to have malignant growth in 2009 and she battled it cheerfully for very nearly one-and-a-half year. Back to work, she then won the hearts of many for her gusto. And that is when it came again. She underwent a bone marrow transplant in 2013. But even then, she didn’t lose her inner peace and happiness. And now, look at her. The actress is on a roll. Her ‘Carbon’ movie was released recently and she is now gearing up for her new movie ‘Neeli’. Bravo girl and we are super proud of you!
Actress Gautami is 50 and is busy as a bee. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35 and the first time she opened to media about it in an interview all she said was, “I realized I didn’t want to live the life of stress and constant tension. I needed a quality life.” And that’s her mantra of recovery. According to her, to be able to talk and exchange ideas is the first step to empowerment. Since her recovery, she has been in the forefront of fighting cancer through her ‘Life Again Foundation’ for many years now. She is also active in
cinema now with ‘E’ the last outing in Malayalam. Iron lady indeed!
