Director Pawan Kumar, who quit engineering in his second year, says, “I did engineering as I was keen on science. I quit because on the grounds that I felt that the training framework did not fill the need of what I needed to do and I would put in a couple of years just to get a degree.”
However, the director adds a word of caution for students. “Students who wish to drop out of courses usually hear only success stories of other dropouts, but the stories of failures are not known. We shouldn’t be telling youngsters that dropping out of college is cool because it requires a lot of clarity, hard work and understanding your interests,” he adds.
