Robbers supposedly broke into Telugu film performer and YSR Congress MLA RK Roja’s home in Panchavati Colony in Raidurgam here and deserted with gold and silver trimmings worth Rs.2.5 lakh.
The robbery is suspected to have been late night on Sunday when the inhabitants, incorporating Roja’s mother by marriage and relatives, were far from home. Police said the suspects went into the house by opening the fundamental entryway bolt raising questions over the inclusion of people known to the family.
As per Raidurgam Inspector M Ram Babu, Roja’s significant other, Selvamani, booked a case expressing that gold and silver decorations were burgled without the relatives. Selvamani’s mom and her relatives, who were living in the house, had gone on a get-away on January 11. Before leaving, they had given over the keys to the household makes a difference. In any case, the household helps too left for their local places the following day morning and for as far back as 10 days, the habitation was lying bolted.
It was the point at which they returned on Monday morning that Selvamani, who was in the city to visit his mom, and the others came to realize that the assets were missing, after which they moved toward the police.
