‘Dil To Happy Hai Ji’ fame TV actress Sejal Sharma committed suicide on Friday at her Mira Road residence in Mumbai. His body was found hanging from the fan on the noose. Sejal, originally from Udaipur (Rajasthan), came to Mumbai in 2017 against the wishes of her parents. In the suicide note, he has described the cause of suicide as depression.

Sejal lived in the Royal Nest Building on Mira Road. He worked with Aamir Khan, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in Ed. She also appeared in a web series titled ‘Azad Parinde’. He got his first break in the world of TV serials in ‘Dil To Happy Hai Ji’. In an interview, he said – being from a middle-class family, it was difficult to convince the family to pursue a career in acting. She was very happy to be a part of the show.

Sejal played Simmi Khosla in ‘Dil To Happy Hai Ji’ aired on Star Plus. Simmi was the sister of the show’s lead character Anas Baghari aka Rocky. It is said that Sejal was very upset in her personal life. Late Thursday night, he had a long chat over the phone with his friends. In the suicide note too, he has given the reason for his death as personal. She was in depression for a month and a half. A case has been registered at Meera Road police station under the Accidental Death Report.
