“The film industry is full of competition. Nobody cares about anyone. Pretending to care is utter hypocrisy. Doing so is tantamount to insulting the soul of the dead. Sushant’s death was soon met by many. People are making mileage out of a poor man’s plight. Is it to show compassion or is it for its own benefit? “I think it is a shame to talk about this on social media,” Saif Ali Khan said. Putting long posts on social media like this is aimed at fans. None of them show this love and care in real life. Saif added, “It is time to write down ten words on Twitter but when you see one, you pass by without even giving a handshake.”

Many people have publicly stated that Sushant has been depressed due to neglect from the Bollywood cinema world. Actor Nikhil Dwivedi has said that he is angry at Sushant after he died without supporting him. Co-worker and stylist Swapnav Bhawani tweeted that everyone knew that Sushant had been going through problems for a few years and no Bollywood colleague was with him.
