Nikhil Kumaraswamy made his grand debut with the Kannada-Telugu bilingual “Jaguar”. The film was reportedly made on budget of nearly Rs 30 crores, as it was a dual language film. Now, his second film as the lead, “Seetharama Kalyana” is complete and it has been revealed that the film was reportedly made on budget of Rs 16.5 crores.
The film, which is directed by Harsha, has a huge star cast. Apart from Rachita Ram, who plays the female lead, the film also stars Madhoo, Sharath Kumar, Ravi Shankar, Bhagyashree and Sanjay Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film has a 35-minute long climax, of which nearly 130 artistes are a part.
The film is already in recovery mode as, according to sources, the team has recovered nearly 13 crores from Hindi dubbing, satellite and music rights. The team is aiming to release the film during the Republic Day weekend in 2019.
