Television star Kushal Punjabi found dead The actor was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home in Mumbai. A suicide note has been recovered from his house. The letter states that no one else is responsible for his death. The letter further details his assets. The letter also states that 50 percent of the property is to be given to the father-mother, sister and a three-year-old daughter. Police are investigating the incident.
The 37-year-old Kushal is a favorite with the miniseries audience. She has starred in several popular series. Kushal made his television debut in 2000 at the Gladrags Manhunt Contest. Kaushal was last seen in the serial Ishq Maem Marjawa, aired by Colors Television. Kushal has also acted in films like Lokha, Kal, Salameh Ishq, and Gol. She is divorced.
The Bandra police said on Friday that they found a suicide note from the flat in which read, “There is no one responsible for my suicide.”Speaking to Hindustan Times, deputy commissioner of police Paramjit Singh Dahiya DCP said, “We recovered a suicide note in which he has written that no one should be blamed for his actions. We are conducting an inquiry.”
Police officers investigating the death said Punjabi stopped taking calls on Thursday. His parents were trying to reach him since 2 pm, but he never responded. Subsequently, they decided to visit him.
