As the soft-spoken Radha miss, Shwetha Prasad had proceeded to increase much fame with her turnout in the well known day by day cleanser Radha Ramana. Now, news comes in that the most desirable woman of television is calling it quits from the serial. Although whispers of the same have been doing the rounds for a few months now, Shwetha had avoided offering her remarks on the equivalent. However at this point, the performer affirms to BT that she is without a doubt giving it up from the show. “When I previously went ahead board Radha Ramana, the agreement was just for a year.
In fact, I had no intention of doing serials at the time, because I had just finished 600 episodes for the serial Srirastu Shubhamastu and wanted to take a break. But when Param (Parameshwar Gundkal) told me that he wanted me for a mega serial that he was launching and that I should try my hand at it for a year, I agreed. It’s been two-and-half years now, and I have achieved everything I wanted to,” she says. But didn’t she have second thoughts about opting out when she’s at the peak? “I think it’s the best time to quit. Radha Ramana gave me so much and I gave it my all. Likewise, the serial catapulted me into fame and beyond that there’s nothing more that it can give me because it’s already put me on an all-time high,” she concurs.
As for the future, Shwetha says she will give television a break for a while and explore alternate options including online video blogs and digital movie platforms. “As for whoever steps into the shoes of Radha Miss, I will only, say be yourself and don’t imitate the person who essayed the role before you. Initially, it will be tough. But soon, the audience will accept you. I know my team will miss me, but they knew this was coming and were prepared for it. I wish them all the best,” Shwetha sums up.
