At Sridevi’s prayer meet in Chennai, southern stars Sivakumar, Sripriya pay tribute

CHENNAI: Rich tributes were today paid to Indian silver screen symbol Sridevi here by a large group of stars of Kollywood, from where she took the baby steps to a glittering career.

A prayer meet was held at a city inn for Sridevi, who passed away in Dubai on February 24, in which her significant other Boney Kapoor, and girls Janhvi and Khushi were among the individuals who went to. The occasion was beyond the bounds for the media.

Prior, leading actors paid their praise to Sridevi at a gathering held in the workplace of the of the South Indian Artistes’ Association (SIAA), famously known as ‘Nadigar Sangam’, here.

Sridevi tribute

A few conspicuous Tamil movie stars, including Sivakumar, performing artist executive K Bhagyaraj, ‘Kutti’ Padmini and Sripriya, who had long relationship with her, paid floral tributes to a photo of Sridevi kept at the workplace SIAA office.

SIAA President and performer Nasser drove the kindred artistes in paying tributes to Sridevi, who passed on at 54 years old.
