Now, a report has been circulating on the internet that Suriya and Karthi will play the lead roles in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’.

However, this seems to be just a rumour as sources close to Suriya and Karthi have confirmed to an online portal that both the actors have not been approached for the film. However, it was not a bad idea to cast Suriya and Karthi for the Tamil remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ as fans have been waiting to see the duo together for a film. Suriya has appeared just once in a cameo in Karthi’s ‘Kadaikutty Singam’, which was made under his production.

‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is about an ego clash between a police officer and a retired army man, while Biju Menon and Prithviraj played the respective roles. The Tamil remake rights of the blockbuster Malayalam film was bagged by producer Kathiresan, who bankrolled Dhanush’s ‘Aadukalam’.
