The Narcotics Control Bureau has also registered a case against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh. The case is based on information that Rhea has drug dealings. The case is based on a letter containing information provided by Enforcement Director Sanjay Mishra. This is after receiving hints about drug use and trafficking from Rhea‘s WhatsApp chat. It is learned that the domestic workers had given a statement to the CBI that Sushant was using drugs. Sushant’s family had alleged that Rhea had tried to extort money by giving Sushant an overdose of drugs.

Siddharth Pithani, a friend who lived with Sushant in Bandra, was reported to have said that Rhea had destroyed the hard disks in the house during the CBI interrogation.
