‘When I attend a family pooja, I have menstruation. I was 14 years old. My mother was not with me at the time. So I told my aunt who was very close to me. Because I didn’t have the sanitary pad in hand. But another woman near us saw my sad face and told me with a smiling face to comfort me, God forgives you (they said it because menstruation during the puja). That was the day I became a feminist and an atheist. I was fourteen.

In a society where a large percentage of women are religiously excluded and still in the name of menstruation, these words have already received a lot of praise for their words of appreciation.

The Tamil film ‘Chakra’ and the Telugu movie ‘Krishna and His Leela’ will be Vishal’s latest films.
