The Me Too movement in Kollywood gained momentum after singer Chinmayi’s sensational sexual abuse allegations against lyricist Vairamuthu and others followed suit including Amala Paul against director Susi Ganesan. One Vishwadarshini residing at Gopalapuram in Chennai released a video in which she has alleged that Vishal is jumping over a wall of her neighbours house in the middle of the night and spending two to three hours with a woman in an illegal affair. She even stated that she has CCTV footage as evidence.

The house that Vishwadarshini mentioned has only a 16 year old girl living there and the child has lodged a complaint against the older woman for falsely implicating her in a sexual scandal. The police after due investigation have found Vishwadarshini guilty of the charges and have booked her under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POSCO) act. and she could be arrested any time soon.
