‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is the first film directed by actor and Manju Warrier‘s brother Madhu Warrier. Manju Warrier herself shares pictures and stories from the location with her fans on social media. Filming has been cut in half in the wake of the Kovid expansion. Manju says that she is waiting for the camera to turn on again. Biju Menon and Manju Warrier will play the lead roles in ‘Lalitham Sundaram’. ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is also the first commercial film to be produced by Manju Warrier in association with Century. The film is being produced under the banner of Manju Warrier Productions. The movie started at Mount Bungalow in Vandiperiyar. P Sukumar is the cinematographer and Pramod Mohan is the screenwriter. The music is composed by Bijibal. The film also stars Dileesh Pothen, Saiju Kurup, Zarina Wahab, and Deepti Sati in the lead roles. Twenty years later, Manju Warrier plays the lead role with Biju Menon.
The two acted together in the film ‘Kannezhuthi Pottumthottu (1999)’. When Biju Menon came up with the character of Uthaman with a bit of a negative shade, Manju played the role of a strong female character named Bhadra. Madhu Warrier made her Malayalam film debut with ‘The Campus’. Madhu Warrier has acted in over 20 films and also worked as a producer. P. Madhu Warrier co-produced a production house with Sukumar called Color Factory and produced two films, ‘Swale’ and ‘Mayamohini’.
