The last time expert artists KJ Yesudas and SP Balasubramaniam met up to render a number was for the Mani Ratnam blockbuster Thalapathy.
In the wake of 27 monotonous years, the two symbols have met up again to render a melody for a bilingual movie coordinated by MA Nishad.
While the Malayalam form has been titled Keni, the Tamil variant of the film is titled Kinar.
The tune, called ‘Ayya Sami’, has been composed by BK Harinarayanan and Palani Bharathi, who have penned the Malayalam and Tamil verses individually. Furthermore, it’s implied that the Malayalam verses have been rendered by KJ Yesudas while the Tamil verses have been sung by SPB.
The twosome had met up to sing the melody ‘Kaatukkuyilu Manasukkula’, a chartbuster that was scored by maestro Ilayaraja, which had included two hotshots – Rajinikanth and Mammootty. The film discharged in the year 1991 and remains a faction hit till date.
The video of the making of ‘Ayya Sami’ has been discharged and there is abundant confirmation the incredible artists had a decent time recording it.
In a meeting to the Times of India, Nishad stated, “SPB sir and Yesudas sir have sung the tune ‘Ayya Sami’, which discusses fraternity amongst Tamilians and Malayalis. The film’s plot spins around a disagreement about a well in the outskirt between these two states, and I needed to weight on the way that nature has no limits and it is just man who makes these fringes.”
The film brags of a great star cast with Revathy, Jayapradha, Parthiban, Pasupathy, Nasser, Parvathy Nambiar, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Joy Mathew and Anu Hasan assuming significant parts.
Kinar/Keni is set in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu outskirt manages the opportune subject of water shortage.
The specialized team of the motion picture incorporates the veteran music author M Jayachandran, with Kallara Gopalan creating one melody. Noushad Sharif has been restricted in for the cinematography and the altering is being finished by Sreekumar.
