Electricity crisis due to Hurricane Katrina continues

On the coastal areas of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, the daytime cycle of cyclone Tithri was hit by several interstate transmission lines in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The process of resolving the faults and continuing to retrieve the lines is still on.

The Thalchar-Kolar 500 KVC line and the Ankul-Srikakulam 765 KV were damaged.

Due to this, about 800 MW decrease in electricity from other States.

For this reason, power supply in the state is essential for 12/10/2018 hours and 6 to 11 pm in the evening.

The government seeks to avoid medical contracts, district hospitals, and the main pump house owned by the Water Authority. Along with this, efforts are on to supply more power from outside. Customers are requested to cooperate.
