Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd has reported decline in operating losses

The Kerala State Electricity Board’s performance declined from Rs. 784.09 crore to the statistical audit of the financial year 2017-18. It was Rs 1494.67 crore in the year 2016-17. KSBL Chairman and Managing Director NS Pillai said that this achievement was achieved by adjusting the outlays on cost efficiency and reducing the cost of distribution of excess electricity. In the coming years, the losses are expected to be further reduced. This explanation is based on the fact that unseen news of the KSEB’s work and the loss of functioning has been reported in the media.
