From India to England; The snake traveled 5000 miles, hiding in a lorry

A snake has reached England about 5,000 miles from India. The legendary snake traveled to England on a freight truck. The snake was found in the back of a lorry heading to the town of Purfleet in Essex, southeast England. It was a snake known as the Snake Cat Snake found in India.

The snake traveled 4700 miles, or 7600 km, without food or water. David Exworth, a member of the animal welfare organization RSPCA, said the snake had no significant health risks. The snake was found by David Exworth at the Essex Depot after employees reported it. He said it was a light poisonous snake.

David Exworth said he received a number of phone messages stating that the creatures were found in vehicles, travelers’ bags, and other things while traveling overseas for vacation. Therefore, the drivers of freight trucks operating in the international service are warned to check the vehicles and the goods properly.
