Dhanya Veena, better known by her stage name Navya Nair, is an Indian film entertainer who has featured in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada films. She is a beneficiary of 2 Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and the Kalaimamani grant.Navya Nair was conceived on 14 October 1985 to Raju and Veena Raju who hails from Cheppad, a town close Harippad in Alleppey District. The movie chief K. Madhu is her uncle. She learned at Bethany Balikamadom High School, Nangiarkulangara till tenth grade and afterward at MSM Higher Secondary School, where her mom was an instructor. She is a MBA graduate. She wedded a Mumbai-based specialist, Santhosh Menon, on 21 January 2010 and they have a child Sai Krishna, conceived on 22 November 2010.
She was still at school when offered her first film job, featuring inverse Dileep in Ishtam in 2001. There pursued jobs in organization with Dileep, in movies, for example, Mazhathullikkilukkam, Kunjikoonan, Kalyanaraman, Pandippada, Gramaphone and Pattanathil Sundaran.
The most mainstream character of Navya is that of ‘Balamani’ in Nandanam. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress and the renowned Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam in 2002 for the equivalent. She has been matched with Mohanlal, Mammooty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Dileep, Prithviraj, and Jayasurya.She began acting in strange motion pictures, for example, Saira and Kanne Madanguka alongside some great business films. Saira was the opening film in the area Tous Les Cinemas Du Monde at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2007, which was the fourth Malayalam film screened at the Cannes International Film Festival. Saira has taken part in 21 other universal film celebrations like USA, Brazil, Israel, Russia, Italy, Greece, Zimbabwe, Belgium, Bangladesh and so on. She won the state grant again in 2005 for her exhibition in Kanne Madanguka and Saira.
