Mariana had undergone laser surgery treatment when she was five years old,
To reduce the nevus. Also, her mother was afraid that she would be bullied for it, by her peers
Mariana says with pride,
“I feel more beautiful and totally different from other people because I have a nevus”.
Amthough the surgery did not help enough, Mariana is still happy with the birthmark.
