Reduced power availability

The availability of power from central pool has been reduced from 200 MW to 26 MW from Kannankulam and 266 MW respectively. Apart from this, the hydro power stations like Palliyar and Peringulthuthu and four other small stations are also damaged by flooding and private power plants, including kuthuangal and maniyar. Measures have been taken to reconstruct and rebuild production.
These inevitable conditions have led to a decline in the power availability of over 700 MW in the state.
All efforts have been made to buy this deficiency from the market.
For some reason, electricity supply is not likely to be available in the evening time and in the evening, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm in some parts of the state.
Customers are requested to cooperate.
