It’s almost been a decade we haven’t got to see the Bollywood’s star couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan share the screen space in a movie. The lovebirds will be reuniting on-screen for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Gulab Jamun’, to be helmed by debutante Sarvesh Mewara.
According to reports, Anurag is planning to commence shooting of ‘Gulab Jamun’ in January 2019. Abhishek and Aishwarya have reportedly liked the script and hence agreed to do the movie. The actress reportedly said that the film was offered to the couple a year and a half back. But when they agreed on the idea then, Junior AB had decided to take a break from Bollywood. Later, the real-life couple finally came on board as they felt that they fit the narrative of the beautiful script perfectly.

Meanwhile, Aishwarya was seen last in musical comedy film- ‘Fanney Khan’ along with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. On the other hand, Abhishek was seen last in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan’.
